Lights!, Camera!, Music?

After much research for the genre of mine and Katie’s film, we have chosen to use the musical genre for our film. Stereotypically, musicals are bouncing around singing dancing fun, but the storylines are endless. In order to make a good musical, we need to bring it into reality – make it one with the viewer. We want the viewer to be able to sing along withe the music, and therefore we’re going to need to use catchy songs. We also don’t want the film to be solely focused on the songs, therefore we’re going to include a gripping storyline to ensure that the viewer enjoys the film.
